I recently attended the New England Mortgage Banking Conference and saw a demo of a new, Web-based CRM that was previously server-based. The product is called Capture and our company just purchased it.

Forget Salesforce, Leads360, Goldmine, ACT, etc., as this blows them all away. The foundation of the system has been around for 10 years and the developers just made it for the Web so that it is affordable (about $50/month). We used it at Fleet Mortgage and it was amazing then, but this new platform outperforms all others. Info is available at www.cachetsystems.com (they are the distributor of Capture)....check it out. And, yes, it interfaces with LOS systems and Outlook. Very easy to use.

The classic software selection argument! As you've mentioned, on-demand CRM has made great strides in recent years and as companies (big and small) look to trim IT budgets, it should become even more popular.
