I totally agree. A Customer Relationship Manager can really help businesses succeed. I particularly liked what you said about how a CRM can only take you so far. Many small business owners I am in contact with are not understanding this principle. They are hoping for a CRM that will run their whole business for them. I think sometimes they forget what CRM stands for. It’s not necessarily an ERP if you know what I mean.

If people can understand the true purpose of a CRM and how it will help them, I think they will have a much easier time choosing a CRM that works for them.

I agree, it is obvious that one must work hard to please each individual customer. As many of us know the dissatisfied ones are much louder than the satisfied ones. However, lately I’ve been more intrigued with the idea of customer satisfaction on a large scale versus on a case by case basis. At the risk of sounding lazy, is it possible to please a huge amount of clients with one uniform action? Or would it be disregarded as a marketing ploy?
